ACT results normally start to come out online around 10 days after your test date. Because the ACT is taken on a Saturday, your scores will usually come out on the second Tuesday after your test date.
Test Information Release (TIR) allows students to receive a copy of their exam, their test-day answers, the answer key, and the score conversion data used to calculate scores for that month’s test. The ACT makes these available for December, April, and June tests only. TIRs can be ordered when you register for your exam, or for up to six months after the eligible test date. We highly recommend that students request this information if they take an eligible test.

Who is eligible for a Test Information Release?
- Examinees who test through National testing at a National test center, on select national test dates.
- Examinees who register for the April test date and test through ACT Special testing during the designated Special Testing Window in the US, US territories, and Puerto Rico. You will also be able to request TIR materials in any alternate formats you were approved for.
- This service is not offered for any other administrations of the ACT. See MyACT for specific dates.
- If for any reason we replace the test version scheduled for use at your test center or reschedule the administration, this offer becomes void, and we will refund your fee for this service. This service is not offered for any other administrations of the ACT.

How to Use These ACT Test Date Projections
These charts make it easy to figure out your best dates to take the ACT. We typically recommend two ACT sittings. Your first test is a dress rehearsal or a dry run. Your second test is what we call your “Go for the Gold” test. This is the ACT where you can aim to hit your target score. Sometimes students take third and fourth tests–especially if they’re trying to polish or improve their superscore.
Our students average +7 point improvements on their composite ACT. If we use superscores, our students are averaging +8 point gains.
ACT TEST PREP
You will benefit from our extensive experience helping students maximize their scores on the ACT. For over 15 years, we have been developing individualized tutoring programs and proven test-prep strategies to unlock the elusive nature of these tests.
